Seek urgent evaluation for sudden worsening breathlessness, one-sided leg swelling or calf pain, rapid weight gain with swelling, fever with worsening breathing, new irregular heartbeat symptoms, or symptoms after a possible blood clot exposure risk such as surgery, long travel, or prolonged immobility.

Do not drive yourself if symptoms are severe, sudden, or could involve a heart attack, pulmonary embolism, dangerous rhythm problem, severe infection, or respiratory failure.
